Encrypted
Keys stay on the phone
Messages are sealed on your device. There is no cloud inbox for anyone else to open.
Phone to phone
Your chats stay encrypted on the phones themselves, and they keep going when the internet drops out. Pair two phones, then talk over Wi-Fi Aware, a hotspot, or the ordinary net.
No accounts on our servers. No public list of usernames. Scan a code to start a chat.

Offline
Use Wi-Fi Aware, a shared hotspot, or the local network. The mesh keeps chats moving when the towers go quiet.
SOS
A signed location note for people in radio range. It stays off unless you turn it on. No server in the middle.
Calls
The call setup rides the encrypted chat. The audio and video stay on the local path, with no STUN or TURN.
Privacy
HarooLink does not upload your contacts, and there is no public directory of usernames. Search for @name and you will only see people already on this phone: a QR scan, an old chat, someone nearby, or an SOS beacon. Notifications stay on the device. Close the app and the radios rest until you open it again.
